AGi32 Version 2.3

New version 2.33 with image-preserving glass – Watch the video.

Watch a short video of the AGi32 2.3 Features.

We are extremely proud to announce that Lighting Analysts has broken the multi-processor, multi-core barrier with our new calculation engine for AGi32 version 2.3 using kăMR Technology™. This is no small feat as multi-threaded radiosity calculations have never been introduced commercially prior to AGi32 2.3. The more cores/processors you have, the faster your calculations will execute.* Typically, each core will increase your calculation speed by an approximate factor of 1.8! See the engine author’s comments on kăMR Technology™.

* The industry-standard x86 (32-bit) architecture has a limit of 32 cores (physical or virtual), while the x86-64 (64 bit) architecture has a limit of 256 cores.

We have also added the #1 most requested feature from existing users: nodal editing for Rooms and Objects (we call it Dynamic Edit). You can now relocate corners, move sides, add nodes and subsequently move them, to completely revise the footprint of your existing Rooms and Objects. Hold down the control key, and you can even do some 3D editing of rooflines and more.

kăMR Technology™ and Dynamic Edit are tremendous assets that instantly make older versions of AGi32 seem antiquated.

There are many more new features: We have added a super easy compliance test to support the Model Lighting Ordinance (MLO), mirroring capabilities for Rooms, Objects and drawing entities, mouse wheel action in Render mode and a number of workflow or performance based enhancements as well. A sleeper is the new enhanced Identify Entity command: now the command provides direct access to advanced editing capabilities avoiding the need to go and perform that function elsewhere. See the complete list of enhancements below.

Enhancements list:   More about the features...

  • New calculation engine with multi-processor, multi-core support using kăMR Technology™
  • Dynamic Edit capability moves or adds corners or sides for Rooms and Objects
