Daylighting Consider the contribution from the world's number one renewable resource in your lighting design projects! AGi32 can now calculate daylight component in any interior or exterior model using CIE models for Clear, Partly Cloudy and Overcast skies. Simply select the appropriate location on the planet (latitude, longitude), time of day, location of True North and compute. Daylight component is computed quickly and accurately using Ian Ashdown's new "Fast daylight analysis" technique. Even include a variable luminance Sky-Dome in your rendering!

Daylight Study Command

Needless to say for those already familiar with daylighting, the ability to compute daylight component over a multitude of times and days is quite valuable. With the new Daylight Study command, AGi32 will allow a study to be executed with user choice of dates, times, sky models, electric lighting contribution and even render image types (RGB, Pseudo). All calculations run in a batch process. When the study is complete, individual calculations can be viewed by opening the appropriate files. OR - check out the Daylight Study Viewer below.

Once a daylight study has been completed, The rendered images can be played back in sequence with selectable frame rate and even multiple images per frame (e.g. RGB and Pseudo, or multiple RGB views of same model). A wonderful presentation tool that you can share with your customers. The Daylight Study Viewer will be available for free from this website (coming soon!).
